Only a few of my semi-regular spots (Zibibbo, Nola, La Strada...) are on this year's Dine Downtown participant list, but it's a good excuse for Monday night's out in August and to try some of the places I haven't been in awhile (Spago, Three Seasons...).From the press release:Popular “Dine Downtown” Returns to Palo Alto! Every Monday throughout the month of August 2005, participating restaurants in downtown Palo Alto will offer prix fixe dinner and/or lunch menus. This summer event celebrates Palo Alto’s vibrant community and highlights downtown Palo Alto’s superb eating establishments. Diners can choose from among the excellent restaurants participating in the Dine Downtown program, including Blue Chalk Café, Café Niebaum-Coppola, Coupa Café, Gordon Biersch, Il Fornaio, La Strada, LAVANDA, MacArthur Park, Maddalena’s & Café Fino, NOLA, Old Pro, Osteria, Pasta Pomodoro, Poolside Grill at the Sheraton, Soleil at the Westin, Spago Palo Alto, Three Seasons, University Café, and Zibibbo.
