I have no idea why this place at the end of a dirt road that’s really no more than a small kitchen and a large collection of heavy metal tables and chairs set in the sand a few feet from the Pacific and shielded by umbrellas is called The Office. I certainly wouldn’t mind this being where I went to work everyday. Although most trips to Los Cabos are all about relaxing, it’s still worth visiting The Office at least once. You’ll feel the sand between your toes and be serenaded by the waves, when you can hear them over the booming beta of Ricky Martin’s La Vida Loca. Beers are always two for one, delivered in metal pails filled with ice. It always seems to be crowded with tourists, and yet the traditional Mexican fare, when it eventually arrives, is pretty good. The Los Cabos Guide to Good Eating says “the black bean Nachos are unforgettable,” though we didn’t try them. Best of all, you don’t have to choose between time at the beach and a decent lunch.
