Turns out, the Palo Alto Junior Museum not only has a small zoo, but also has a bald eagle. Sequoia the bald eagle likes to get out and stretch her wings every week. Usually it's in the middle of the day at hard times. We got lucky, and a few weekends ago they had a special photographers special in the late afternoon.
While we were outgunned on the lens front I managed a few not-terrible shots. I've never seen such a collection of $5K+ lenses outside a sporting event. I wonder how they even knew about this.
